Privacy Policy

Elsea ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Carba Capital Pty Ltd, trading as Elsea M.C. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Free version

The free version of the Elsea app requires no account or sign-in, and collects no personal data. If you enable push notifications, a device push token is stored only to deliver them.

What we collect from subscribers

Elsea is built to minimise personal data collection. We do not require an email address — your Telegram chat ID is your primary identifier.

• Telegram identifiers — your Telegram chat ID, first name, and username (as provided by Telegram), used to deliver alerts and manage your subscription.
• TradingView username — if you provide it, used solely to grant access to the Elsea indicators.
• Watchlist and preference data — tickers, buckets, countries, notes, and alert settings you configure.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We retain only your Stripe customer and subscription IDs to manage billing status.
• API usage data — timestamps and device information associated with API key use, for security and fraud prevention.
• Device push token — used solely to deliver notifications through Apple and Google push services.

How we use your information

• To deliver daily market alerts and signals via Telegram and the app.
• To manage your subscription and billing through Stripe.
• To provide access to the Elsea Telegram community and TradingView indicators.
• To detect and prevent unauthorised sharing of API access.
• To respond to support requests.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not require your real name or email to use Elsea.

Third parties

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Elsea:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Telegram — messaging and community delivery.
• Apple and Google — push notifications for the iOS and Android apps.
• TradingView — indicator access, using the username you provide.
• Render — application hosting.
• Aiven — database infrastructure.
• Cloudflare — website hosting.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Deleting your data

We retain your data until you opt out or request deletion. You can request the deletion of your data at any time.

To delete your data, send /optout to the Elsea Alert Bot on Telegram. Your subscriber record, watchlist, notes, alert settings, and push tokens are permanently deleted from our systems. Your API Key remains valid until the end of any period you’ve already paid for, then expires. You can also email support@elsea.app with your Telegram User ID (shown in the app's User Settings).

Payment records are held by Stripe, not Elsea, and are retained by Stripe as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Elsea Telegram bot.
