Elsea ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Carba Capital Pty Ltd, trading as Elsea M.C. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Elsea is built to minimise personal data collection. We do not require an email address to create an account — your Telegram chat ID is your primary identifier.

• Telegram identifiers — your Telegram chat ID, first name, and username (as provided by Telegram), used to deliver alerts and manage your subscription.
• Watchlist and preference data — tickers, buckets, countries, and alert settings you configure.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We retain only your Stripe customer and subscription IDs to manage billing status.
• API usage data — timestamps and device information associated with API key use, for security and fraud prevention.
• Device push token — used solely to deliver notifications through Apple's push notification service.

How we use your information

• To deliver daily market alerts and signals via Telegram and the app.
• To manage your subscription and billing through Stripe.
• To provide access to the Elsea Telegram community.
• To detect and prevent unauthorised sharing of API access.
• To respond to support requests.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not require your real name or email to use Elsea.

Third parties

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Elsea:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Telegram — messaging and community delivery.
• Apple — push notifications for the iOS app.
• Render — application hosting and database infrastructure.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you opt out via the /optout command, your watchlist data and subscriber record are permanently deleted from our systems.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by messaging our Telegram bot with /optout, or by contacting us at hello@elsea.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Elsea Telegram bot.
