Getting started

Do I need a subscription to use the app?

No. The markets and macro dashboards and the Bitcoin risk models are free to use, with no sign-in required. A subscription unlocks signals, the Radars, the watchlist and alerts.

How do I sign up?

  1. Download Elsea from the App Store or Google Play and enable push notifications.
  2. Open a Telegram chat with @ElseaAlertBot and send /start.
  3. Choose a subscription. Once payment clears, your app API Key and community access arrive automatically.
  4. In the app settings, add your TradingView username to enable indicator access.

Why do I need Telegram?

Your Telegram chat ID is your account identifier — it's how we manage your subscription without needing an email address or password. Your API Key and personalised alerts are all tied to it.

Where do I find my API Key?

It's delivered to you by the Telegram bot once your payment clears. Enter it in the app to activate your access. If you've lost it, message the bot and it can be re-issued.

App and access

The app says my API Key is missing or invalid

Check that the key was pasted in full with no trailing spaces. If it still won't validate, message @ElseaAlertBot to have your key re-issued.

My TradingView indicators aren't showing

TradingView indicator access is granted to the TradingView username saved in your app settings. Make sure it matches your TradingView profile exactly — it's case-sensitive and must be the username, not your display name. Access is granted automatically once saved; if it doesn't appear within a few minutes, get in touch.

Can I use Elsea on more than one device?

Yes. Your API Key works across your own devices. Sharing keys outside your own use is monitored and may result in access being revoked.

Billing and subscription

How does billing work?

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, either monthly or yearly. We never see or store your card details — only your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, used to manage billing status.

How do I update my payment details?

Message @ElseaAlertBot and it will provide a secure Stripe link to manage your payment method.

How do I cancel?

Send /optout to the Telegram bot at any time. Your subscription will not renew, and your watchlist, notes, settings, and TradingView indicator access are deleted immediately. Your API Key stays valid until the end of the period you've already paid for, then stops working.

How do I delete my data?

Send /optout to the Telegram bot. Your subscriber data is permanently deleted, and your API Key expires at the end of your paid period. You can also email support@elsea.app with your Telegram User ID. See how to delete your data and the privacy policy.

About the signals

What do Trend, Heat, and SR mean?

Trend identifies the direction and strength of a move, Heat flags over- and undervaluation, and SR detects structural support and resistance levels. Each indicator has a full write-up on its own page — see the indicator suite.

How often do signals update?

Crypto signals update once daily. Stocks update three times a day, once for each region after its market close: Americas, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), and APAC (Asia-Pacific). Alerts are delivered via the app and Telegram.

Is this financial advice?

No. Elsea provides informational tools only. Nothing in the app, on this site, or in the community constitutes financial advice, and you should do your own research before making any investment decision.
